Board members are elected at the annual meeting of the Island Pointe Owners Association (IPOA) for terms of three years. Each year, a fixed number of the five board seats are up for election at the Annual Meeting. The yearly rotation is as follows: Two seats, two seats, one seat. In addition, there may be nominations for unfulfilled terms of directors who have rsigned.   The treasurer and property manager are non -voting and non-elected members of the board.  (See Article IV of the by-laws for duties of officers).The more people get involved in the Association, the stronger an Association we are. In that spirit, Oh sure, you’ll have to knock off one or two incumbents to get the seat, but that’s OK.  After all, how could you not want to share all the fun? And on a serious note, you’ll have a chance to make a meaningful, positive difference for Island Pointe. Remember, it’s not just a job, it’s an adventure.
